Conference Theme and Streams

The Conference Theme is:    ‘Catalysing change: ideas to impact’.

In addition to showcasing the cutting edge in new developments in CBT approaches and techniques, we also hope that the conference provides a space to consider and address some of the challenges facing the delivery of CBT in the current climate, and the broader context of development and implementation of CBT based research and practice. This might include consideration of the barriers and opportunities of translating data-driven research to real-world implementation on the ground in NHS setting, trying to ensure that everyone receives the optimal intervention in the face of inequalities such as those posed by social deprivation, racism, cultural differences, and mental health stigma. Asking the question, how can we go beyond our ideas and good intentions to meaningful actions with real-world impact? We would therefore particularly welcome submissions around these themes.
